BEYOND HUMAN TRAINING LABS - 2026
Most people train for comfort. We train for failure.
The outdoors doesn't care how motivated you are. When weather shifts and gear fails, you don't rise to the occasion—you fall to your systems. The Beyond Human Training Labs are an elite, multi-phase curriculum designed to transition you from "Camper" to "Explorer." Master the high-performance protocols used to walk across Africa and kayak the Great Lakes. This is not a guided nature tour. There is no hand-holding. Choose your phase, lock in your spot, and prepare to evolve.
I’ve spent the last decade operating in environments where failure has real consequences.
Mountains across continents, from Mount Kenya to the Andes in Peru.
Winter systems on Mount Washington and Mount Rainier.
High-altitude movement on Kilimanjaro.
Extended backcountry travel through the Rockies in Banff.
And beyond the mountains:
Walking the length of Africa.
Cycling across North America.
Kayaking Lake Ontario and open water in the Caribbean.
14-day foot expeditions from Toronto to Montreal.
This isn’t theory. It’s accumulated experience under pressure.
Before all of that, I ran a fitness studio in Toronto, building people physically, mentally, and structurally for performance.
That combination led to one conclusion:
Most people don’t fail because they’re weak. They fail because they don’t have systems. With Training Labs you will learn all the necessary steps to begin your first big adventure, whether that is solo or with a guided tour.
Train like an explorer. Not a tourist.

Phase 1: The Urban Baseline (Expedition Readiness Clinic)
Before you survive the backcountry, you must master the baseline. This intensive 3-hour urban clinic is the mandatory starting point to audit your gear, fitness, and mindset. Learn the 'Essentialist' approach to packing, biomechanical efficiency, and analog map/compass navigation. We strip away the fluff of traditional camping and replace it with expedition-grade systems. You will leave with a clear understanding of your physical gaps and the repeatable systems required to fix them. Pass this clinic, and you are ready for Phase 2. Secure Your Baseline

Master 'Zero-Waste' resource logistics, adaptive decision-making at the cognitive red-line, and transparent communication under fatigue. The Beyond Human Youth Initiative
Resilience is a learned skill. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing, Beyond Human works directly with schools and youth organizations to bring vital wilderness education to the next generation. From fundamental scouting and survival skills to environmental stewardship and Leave No Trace (LNT) principles, these interactive day-sessions in the city (such as Fort York or local school grounds) are designed to build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong respect for the outdoors.
